Colin began career as a McKinsey analyst, and has led Strategy teams for M&C Saatchi in South Africa, Malaysia and Australia.

His time leading Optus Prepaid strategy earned the agency 2 effectiveness awards and  helped them sustain their leadership
position in the youth market.

Kon Marinis

Creative Partner

Kon’s combination of design skills is rare in the industry: innovation, interior design, industrial design, environment design, hospitality, brand, digital, retail, product integration and comms.

Andrew Ostrom

Creative Director

Ideas are his first love. Over the past 20 years he has contributed to many famous advertising brands and also helped to create two. The Tongue ad for Toohey’s Extra Dry and now Airtasker.

He brings to UDKU traditional advertising experience, alongside a practical knowledge of the importance of brand in customer experience design.

Rodina Tabnak

Design Director

A highly conceptual thinker, she has successfully produced large scale commercial and niche projects in print, spacial design/interiors and fashion.

Rodina’s skill set across the vast spectrum of visual communication has led her to develop brand experiences for clients such as; QIC, David Jones, Solotel, CBA, Crumpler, R.M.Williams, ALDI, and Amore Pacific.

Jaime Marin

Senior Account Manager

Key point of interface with UDKU to drive flawless delivery across brand, physical, digital and communications.

While in London, Jaime worked on Vice Magazines CREATOR  project, and closer to home has worked on Jim Beam, QUR and student activations for St George bank.

Cathleen Santoso

Account Executive

Cathleen is a student-athlete graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in uncovering human habits, creating innovative strategies, and telling stories.

She has previously worked with a boutique company, SEAMUS Golf and has had brand experience at Nike WHQ, Portland.

Penelope Conlon

Senior Strategist

Penelope is a digital gun, having spent time nurturing start ups from Silicon Valley to Sydney.

Penelope’s current passion (other than sailing) is the study of data science to deliver market insight and measure effectiveness.

Jenni Saarijarvi

Lead UI/UX Designer

Jenni is a gifted UX/UI hybrid designer with an eye for pixels. Jenni is naturally skilled at turning design concepts into tangible prototypes within days and often partakes in our 5-day and 30 day design sprint programs.

She’s driven by user-focused design approach and critically evaluates, questions and constantly challenges a plethora of device driven design disciplines. Jenni likes to take a leading role in research, and is skilled at uncovering ways to improve her work from the feedback she seeks directly from customers.

Matt Woods

Copy Writer

Matt’s fresh from a five-year stint in the UK where he worked as a creative at Saatchi & Saatchi, London. It’s here that he established himself, getting the chance to work on top brands such as Cravendale, HSBC, Marie Curie, Toyota and Visa. 

Originally from New Zealand, Matt’s now back in the Southern Hemisphere and is more than ready to trade warm English ale for a warm Aussie climate. 

Lien Bui

Architect Director at Five Foot One

Lien Bui graduated from Architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney with first class honours following the completion of her degree in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine), from RMIT University.

Lien has honed her skills in hospitality with practices like Burley Katon Halliday and Loop Creative.  Past projects have included Oy, Potts Point; Chiara Restaurant, Dockland;  Autolyse Bakery, Chippendale.

Kat Thompson

Interiors Director at Five Foot One

Interior architecture and concept design specialising in retail & hospitality environments. Spatial planning, 3D rendering and detail documentation.

A vast array of both hospitality and retail fit outs including AMP, GE Money, Sumo Salad and Costi’s Seafood. Conceptual design for upcoming brands and venues such as “The Hunter Wine Bar”.

Elmar Trefz

Creative Technologist

Bridging the digital and physical world, Elmar’s experience and interactive design includes events, museums, public spaces and concept stores.

His core skill of merging marketing, architecture, design and digital into an ambient interactive experience is second
to none.

His global experience spans banking and finance, automotive, technology, telecommunications, media, retail, art, culture,  education and research.
